Siena at the forefront in the world: the new veterinary ambulance presented

The contract is configured as a supply of services lasting 10 years, at the end of which the Municipality has the right to renew the service itself with a 10% reduction in costs. The contract was awarded to Dr. Raffaello Ciampoli following an expression of interest and subsequent negotiated procedure with awarding based on the most economically advantageous offer criterion.
The assignment method therefore tends to strengthen and rationalize the entire emergency veterinary service, included in the contract and carried out with an approved vehicle, but at the same time strengthen a veterinary structure in the area and make available to all horse owners a tool that can only be fully exploited for the benefit of the entire Community through this form of contract.
